The games are afoot! Here we are with the 69th edition of the Kickstarter Blitz. As always, times are in Mountain Daylight Time, and all funding levels are accurate as of the day before this post goes up (in this case, September 26).

Dice & Ink (Various Designers, Inkwell Games) is an anthology of ten different roll and write games from eleven different designers. (Ends 9/27 @ 7:00 PM. Currently not funded. $15 PDF, $29 physical, $35 physical with dice. Estimated to arrive June 2020)

Squire for Hire (Jon Merchant) is an 18-card tile laying game where you’re trying to arrange the highest scoring bag of loot. (Ends 9/30 @ 5:58 AM. Currently funded. $13. Estimated to arrive January 2020)

LOTS (Zachary Connely, Royal N Games) is a competitive tower building game where players are trying to put up a building on the same spot. (Ends 9/30 @ 7:59 AM. Currently funded. $25. Estimated to arrive April 2020)

Board Game Cafe Frenzy (Citie Lo, The Wood Games) is a trick-taking game where you’re working to start your own board game cafe. It looks like it has a pretty unique mix of mechanisms. (Ends 9/30 @ 3:59 PM. Currently funded. €19. Estimated to arrive November 2019)

Moonrakers (Austin Harrison/Max Anderson, IV Studios) is a deck-building and negotiation game where you are competing to be the leader of an outlaw space faction. (Ends 10/1 @ 7:59 AM. Currently funded. $55. Estimated to arrive July 2020)

Reigns: The Council (Bruno Faidutti/Hervé Marly, Nerial) is an asymmetric game based on the popular app, Reigns. As in the app, you’re making choices from situations provided by your advisors that will either lead to your prosperity or your death. (Ends 10/1 @ 2:00 PM. Currently funded. £28. Lumberjerks (Dave Collinson/Alexander Delfino/Austin Mace, Howling Hog Games) is a game about chopping down trees and trying to block your opponents. It’s not my type of game, but I do like the title. (Ends 10/2 @ 1:00 PM. Currently not funded. $16. Estimated to arrive July 2020)

Mint Cooperative (Jonathan Gilmour/Brian Lewis, Five24 Labs) is a cooperative superhero-themed game that fits in a mint tin. (Ends 10/4 @ 2:00 PM. Currently funded. $10. Estimated to arrive April 2020)

Stacked (Sean Brown/LeAnn Phillips/Tim Phillips, Mr. B Games) is a stacking game that could be played as a trick-taking game, a draw-and-play game, or a follow-the-leader game. (Ends 10/4 @ 3:58 PM. Currently not funded. $48. Estimated to arrive August 2020)

DiTiC (Dan Browning, Dan Browning Games) is an abstract tile-placement game where you’re generating dice and trying to combine them up to level 6. (Ends 10/6 @ 2:34 AM. Currently not funded. £20. Estimated to arrive January 2020)

Philosophia (Joseph N. Adams/Madeleine Cole, Cogito Ergo Meeple) is a game about ancient Greek philosophers trying to establish their legacy before the Romans take over. (Ends 10/10 @ 7:02 AM. Currently funded. £57. Estimated to arrive June 2020)

Nouvelle France (Jacques-Dominique Landry, JackBro Playful Creation) is a game about the exploration of North America by the French during the 17th century. And man, is it pretty. (Ends 10/10 @ 10:01 AM. Currently not funded. $75 Canadian. Estimated to arrive September 2020)

The Grand Carnival (Rob Cramer, Uproarious Games) is a polyomino-based game about building up your carnival better than your opponents. (Ends 10/10 @ 4:00 PM. Currently funded. $39. Estimated to arrive May 2020)

Manchukuo (Michael Mihealsick, Penguin & Panda Productions) is a game set in 1932 China, when assembly and weapons. You’re trying to help your community and still practice your arts without creating waves. (Ends 10/11 @ 9:01 AM. Currently funded. $49. Estimated to arrive September 2020)

Fidget Factory (Mark McLachlan/Matthew McLachlen/JR Honeycutt/Brian Neff) is a game by the makers of the Fidget Cube where you are trying to build Fidget Cubes. How meta can you get? (Ends 10/11 @ 7:00 PM. Currently funded. $29 basic, $49 deluxe. Estimated to arrive June 2020)

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner (Chad Elkins, 25th Century Games) is a family game where you’re rolling dice to try to get your foxes a tasty chicken dinner. (Ends 10/16 @ 9:00 PM. Currently not funded. $25. Estimated to arrive April 2020)

Moonflight (Glenn Ford, Man O’ Kent Games) advertises itself as a deck-unbuilder – you build your deck through the first half, then rotate the cards and start trashing after the market empties. (Ends 10/18 @ 3:00 AM. Currently not funded. £23. Estimated to arrive April 2020)

Seven Bridges (Ronald Halliday, Puzzling Pixel Games) is a route-building roll-and-write game (that they’re calling a stroll-and-write) where you earn points by visiting parts of the city of Königsberg by crossing the historic seven bridges. (Ends 10/18 @ 8:00 AM. Currently not funded. $27. Estimated to arrive August 2020)

ArchRavels (Adam McCrimmon/Jordan Miller, XYZ Game Labs) is a crafty-themed game where players are trying to collect yarn and follow patterns to win. (Ends 10/19 @ 4:05 PM. Currently funded. $35. Estimated to arrive August 2020)

Root: The Tabletop RPG (Magpie Games) is an RPG based on the incredibly popular asymmetric board game Root from designer Cole Werhle and Leder Games. (Ends October 20 @ 12:00 PM. Currently funded. $40 core, $75 with expansion. Estimated to arrive September 2020)
